Room in Roof
As a part of the government’s new ‘ Energy Company Obligation Scheme ‘… Government funded grants are now being offered, that enable you to have your loft fully insulated – COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.
These newly introduced government scheme grants, cover the entire cost of having all loft rooms insulated to adhere to current building regulations. The insulation installation is carried out by a team of highly skilled tradesmen using the very best in the latest insulation materials.
Properties that were built a number of years ago were often built with little or absolutely no insulation at all in their loft space or ‘Room in the Roof’. The majority of properties with a loft space that were insulated, were done so using materials and techniques that didn’t adhere to general building regulations.
Having your ‘Room in the Roof’ or loft room properly insulated to match building regulations standards can vastly reduce your energy bills & ensure that your house is a lot warmer throughout.
Through extensive research and general findings by qualified surveyors it is believed that on average around 25% of all the heat in a property escapes through an un-insulated or poorly insulated room in the roof.
So you could save up to around £400 a year on your fuel bills by adequately insulating your ‘Room in the Roof’ – COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE – whilst also reducing heating bills and helping to do a bit for the environment.
How do you define whether or not you are entitled to claim for your FREE ‘Room in the Roof’ insulation installation?
